About our Company
Casualtee is dedicated to changing the way that t-shirt printing is impacting the planet and its people. We have an innovative spirit and are always experimenting and researching new techniques in order to provide the highest quality, most sustainable service.
We feel that our customers should be aware of the environmental impacts caused by screen printing. We value the transparency of our business by being open with the chemicals that we use, what the alternatives are, and how we decide to use what we do.
Affordability is also important, and we believe that eco-friendly options shouldn’t have to cost more. For this reason, we always stay competitively priced with conventional screen printers - it shouldn't take green to be green!

History
In early 2005, Casualtee was founded in Olympia, Washington as a screen printing company with the intention of changing the way the industry is run. We started as a small operation printing for local pizza shops, school clubs and sports teams. As word of mouth spread, we quickly upgraded our equipment to meet the demand. Now, we have several employees operating professional equipment and ship our prints to clients located all over the country.
We came into the industry looking for new alternatives that would lessen our impact on the environment. Using soy-based solvents and cleaners eventually lead us to finding a water based ink that produced a better print than any conventional plastisol ink we had seen. We jumped on this opportunity and worked with the ink supplier to refine printing water based to be as printer friendly as plastisol. The results were nothing short of wonderful - we have received a tremendous amount positive feedback from our customers (and anyone who has and felt our prints), as well as an increase in the number of screen printers using water based inks.
The growth of the green printing industry is very exciting, and we enthusiastically support the emerging green printing companies setting out with the same goals. Our innovative methods and research will help to push the industry forward by consistently setting newer, higher standards for eco-friendly, high-quality textile printing.
